The Figure 69F Adjustable Swivel Ring Felt Lined Pipe Hanger is specifically designed for the suspension of non-insulated stationary copper tubing. Available for 1/2" through 6" copper tube, this adjustable pipe hanger combines durable carbon steel construction with an adhesive-backed felt lining that separates the copper tubing from the steel hanger. It is an excellent pipe support solution for commercial plumbing, mechanical systems, water distribution, and other copper tube installations.
Felt Lining for Copper Tube Protection
A key feature of the Figure 69F copper tube hanger is its layer of adhesive-backed felt. The felt creates a barrier between the copper tubing and carbon steel ring, providing electrolytic resistance by reducing direct contact between dissimilar metals.
The felt lining also helps minimize noise and vibration, making the Figure 69F particularly useful where quiet piping system operation is desirable. The hanger has a maximum service temperature of 120°F.
Pre-Galvanized Strap and Zinc-Plated Nut
The carbon steel strap is manufactured from pre-galvanized material, while the adjustment nut is zinc plated for additional corrosion protection. The hanger's threads are countersunk to help prevent them from becoming burred or damaged during handling and installation.
A knurled swivel nut allows convenient vertical adjustment after the copper tubing is installed, helping achieve proper tube elevation and alignment.
Captured Nut for Easier Installation
The captured nut is permanently retained in the bottom portion of the hanger band. This allows the Figure 69F swivel ring hanger to be opened during installation while preventing the nut from falling out.
The Figure 69F complies with Federal Specification A-A-1192A Type 10, WW-H-171-E Type 10, ANSI/MSS SP-69, and MSS SP-58 Type 10.
