Gruvlok Grade E EPDM Gasket

Gruvlok® Figure 7305 HDPE Rigid Coupling with Grade E EPDM Gasket

The Gruvlok® Figure 7305 HDPE Rigid Coupling with Grade E EPDM Gasket is a high-performance mechanical coupling engineered to provide a secure, rigid connection for High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) pipe without the need for heat fusion. Compatible with ASTM F714, ASTM D2447, ASTM D3000, and ASTM D3035 HDPE pipe in wall thicknesses ranging from SDR 32.5 through SDR 7.3, the Figure 7305 offers a faster, more economical alternative to traditional fusion welding methods. By eliminating costly fusion equipment and reducing installation time, this coupling is an ideal solution for municipal water systems, irrigation networks, industrial process piping, mining operations, wastewater treatment facilities, and utility infrastructure.

The Figure 7305 utilizes a precision-engineered four-bolt design that mechanically grips the exterior of the HDPE pipe, creating a rigid connection with pressure capabilities that exceed the pressure rating of the HDPE pipe itself.

Advanced Mechanical HDPE Pipe Joining

Secure Installation Without Fusion Equipment

The Gruvlok® Figure 7305 features hardened gripping teeth that engage the outside diameter of the HDPE pipe to create a dependable mechanical joint. The gripping teeth are positioned away from the gasket, allowing the seal to maintain maximum effectiveness throughout the operating temperature range while minimizing stress on the sealing surface.

Its low-profile contoured housing includes smooth exterior ramps that allow long pipeline sections to slide over obstacles during installation or relocation, improving jobsite productivity and reducing handling difficulties.

Grade E EPDM Gasket

Reliable Sealing for Water and Chemical Service

The Grade E EPDM gasket, identified by its green color code, is manufactured in accordance with ASTM D2000 and provides a service temperature range of -30°F to 230°F (-34°C to 110°C). It is recommended for water service, dilute acids, alkaline solutions, oil-free compressed air, and many non-petroleum chemical applications.

The EPDM compound offers excellent resistance to weathering, ozone, heat, and aging, providing dependable long-term sealing performance in demanding environments. The Grade E EPDM gasket is not recommended for petroleum products, fuels, mineral oils, hydraulic oils, or compressed air containing oil vapors, where a Nitrile gasket should be selected instead.

Why Choose the Gruvlok® Figure 7305 HDPE Rigid Coupling?
