Gruvlok Grade E EPDM Gasket
Gruvlok® Figure 7377 High Pressure Double Groove Coupling with Grade E EPDM Gasket
The Gruvlok® Figure 7377 High Pressure Double Groove Coupling with Grade E EPDM Gasket is a premium mechanical grooved coupling engineered for high-pressure water and industrial piping systems requiring exceptional strength, flexibility, and long-lasting sealing performance. Utilizing Gruvlok's advanced double groove technology, the Figure 7377 provides superior pressure capability while maintaining the flexibility needed to absorb vibration, thermal expansion, and minor pipe movement. Designed for high-pressure water transmission, mining operations, slurry systems, wastewater treatment, industrial processing, hydraulic applications, and municipal infrastructure, the Figure 7377 delivers performance that exceeds the pressure capabilities of many conventional grooved couplings.
When equipped with the Grade E EPDM gasket, the Figure 7377 becomes an excellent solution for water-based and non-petroleum piping systems where dependable sealing and corrosion resistance are essential.
Advanced Double Groove Technology
High-Pressure Performance with Flexible Pipe Movement
The Gruvlok® Figure 7377 utilizes an innovative double groove housing design that evenly distributes operating loads across the pipe joint while maintaining a flexible mechanical connection. This advanced design minimizes stress concentrations, reduces vibration transmission, and accommodates limited thermal expansion and contraction, helping protect pumps, valves, and other mechanical equipment from excessive operating stresses.
Its rugged construction makes the Figure 7377 an ideal choice for demanding applications requiring dependable performance under high operating pressures.
Grade E EPDM Gasket
Engineered for Water and Chemical Service
The Grade E EPDM gasket, identified by its distinctive green color code, is manufactured in accordance with ASTM D2000 and provides a service temperature range of -30°F to 230°F (-34°C to 110°C). It is recommended for water service, dilute acids, alkaline solutions, oil-free compressed air, and many non-petroleum chemical applications.
The EPDM compound provides outstanding resistance to ozone, weathering, heat, and aging while maintaining long-term sealing performance in demanding industrial environments. Grade E EPDM gaskets are not recommended for petroleum products, fuels, mineral oils, hydraulic oils, or compressed air containing oil vapors, where a Grade T Nitrile gasket should be selected instead.
Why Choose the Gruvlok® Figure 7377 with Grade E EPDM Gasket?
