Grade "T" Nitrile Gasket
Engineered for Petroleum Service
The Grade "T" Nitrile (Buna-N) gasket, identified by its orange color code, is manufactured in accordance with ASTM D2000 and provides a service temperature range of -20°F to 180°F (-29°C to 82°C). It is specifically recommended for petroleum products, mineral oils, vegetable oils, hydraulic fluids, lubricating oils, fuels, and compressed air containing oil vapors.
The nitrile compound provides excellent chemical resistance and long-term sealing performance in petroleum-based systems. Grade "T" Nitrile gaskets are not recommended for hot water or hot air applications, where EPDM or another compatible gasket material should be selected.
