Figure 137 Carbon Steel with Plain Finish U-Bolt with Nuts

Figure 137 Carbon Steel Plain Finish U-Bolt

The Figure 137 Carbon Steel with Plain Finish U-Bolt is a heavy-duty pipe support designed for supporting or guiding piping and other heavy loads in demanding industrial applications. Available in sizes from 1/2" through 36", this carbon steel U-bolt provides a strong and versatile method of securing pipe to structural supports, brackets, channels, and other compatible mounting assemblies.

Manufactured from durable carbon steel with a plain finish, each Figure 137 U-Bolt is supplied with four finished hex nuts for secure installation. Its rugged construction makes it especially suitable for power generation facilities, process plants, marine installations, industrial piping, and heavy-duty mechanical systems.

Heavy-Duty Carbon Steel Construction

The Figure 137 Plain Finish U-Bolt is recommended for the support or guidance of heavy loads. Its traditional U-shaped design fits around the outside of the pipe and connects to the supporting structure using threaded ends and the supplied finished hex nuts.

With an extensive 1/2-inch through 36-inch size range, the Figure 137 can accommodate numerous piping sizes used throughout commercial and industrial facilities.

Plain Finish for Industrial Applications

The plain carbon steel finish is well suited for applications where a protective zinc coating or hot-dip galvanized finish is not required. Plain finish U-bolts are commonly specified for controlled indoor environments or projects where components will receive a separate protective coating after installation.

Industry-Compliant U-Bolt Pipe Support

The Figure 137 complies with Federal Specification A-A-1192A Type 24, WW-H-171-E Type 24, ANSI/MSS SP-69, and MSS SP-58 Type 24.

Combining heavy-duty carbon steel construction, four finished hex nuts, a broad size range, and recognized industry compliance, the Figure 137 Carbon Steel Plain Finish U-Bolt provides dependable support and guidance for piping in power plants, process facilities, marine environments, manufacturing operations, and other heavy-duty industrial piping systems.
