Approximately 30% lighter than the Gruvlok® Figure 7001 Flexible Coupling, the Figure 7000 reduces installation effort while maintaining the strength, durability, and dependable sealing performance expected in demanding industrial environments. Designed for commercial and industrial piping systems, this coupling accommodates thermal expansion, contraction, vibration, and minor pipe movement while providing working pressure ratings up to 600 PSI (41.4 bar), depending on pipe size and wall thickness.

The Grade "T" Nitrile (Buna-N) gasket, identified by its distinctive orange color code, is specifically formulated for petroleum-based service. It provides a service temperature range of -20°F to 180°F (-29°C to 82°C) and is recommended for petroleum products, mineral oils, vegetable oils, hydraulic fluids, fuels, and compressed air containing oil vapors.
The Grade "T" gasket offers excellent resistance to oil-based media while maintaining dependable sealing performance under demanding operating conditions. It is not recommended for hot water or hot air applications, where EPDM or other specialized gasket compounds should be selected instead.
