The Figure 69 Adjustable Swivel Ring Pipe Hanger is a versatile carbon steel pipe support designed for the suspension of non-insulated stationary piping. Available in sizes from 1/2" through 8", this adjustable swivel ring hanger is ideal for commercial plumbing, fire protection, mechanical piping, and other applications requiring secure overhead pipe support with convenient vertical adjustment.
Pre-Galvanized Strap with Zinc-Plated Nut
The Figure 69 is manufactured from carbon steel with a pre-galvanized zinc-coated strap for corrosion protection. The adjustment nut is zinc plated, providing additional protection for the hanger assembly. The maximum service temperature is 450°F.
Sizes 1/2" through 2" are designed for use with both steel and CPVC piping and are manufactured with FBC System Compatible oil.
Adjustable Swivel Nut Design
A knurled swivel nut provides convenient vertical adjustment after the piping has been installed, helping contractors establish proper pipe elevation and alignment. The threads are countersunk to help prevent them from becoming burred or damaged during handling and installation.
On 1/2" through 6" sizes, the swivel nut is permanently captured in the bottom portion of the band. This design allows the hanger to be opened during installation when desired while preventing the nut from falling completely out, simplifying installation and reducing the chance of losing components.
UL Listed and FM Approved Pipe Hanger
The Figure 69 Adjustable Swivel Ring Hanger complies with Federal Specification A-A-1192A Type 10, WW-H-171-E Type 10, and ANSI/MSS SP-58 Type 10. Sizes 3/4" through 8" are UL Listed and FM Approved, making the hanger suitable for specified fire protection and other approved piping installations.
