The Gruvlok® Figure 7401 RidgeLOK® Rigid Coupling with Grade "EP" EPDM Gasket is a premium mechanical grooved coupling engineered to provide a rigid, locked-in pipe connection for commercial, industrial, and municipal piping systems. Featuring Gruvlok's advanced GuideLOK® housing technology, the Figure 7401 delivers exceptional joint strength, precise pipe alignment, and simplified installation. Compatible with roll-grooved and cut-grooved standard weight steel pipe, roll-grooved lightweight steel pipe, grooved-end fittings, and valves, this coupling provides working pressures up to 750 PSI (51.7 bar) on standard wall grooved pipe while supporting rigid pipe hanging practices in accordance with ASME B31 Pipe Codes.

Grade "EP" EPDM Gasket
Designed for Water and Chemical Service
The Grade "EP" EPDM gasket, identified by its distinctive green and red color code, is manufactured in accordance with ASTM D2000 and provides a service temperature range of -40°F to 250°F (-40°C to 121°C). It is recommended for water service, diluted acids, alkaline solutions, oil-free compressed air, and many non-petroleum chemical services.
For hot water applications, Gruvlok® recommends using Gruvlok® Xtreme Temperature Lubricant during installation to maximize gasket life and sealing performance. The Grade "EP" gasket is also NSF/ANSI 61 Certified, making it suitable for cold and hot potable water applications where approved materials are required.
The Grade "EP" EPDM gasket is not recommended for petroleum products, fuels, mineral oils, hydraulic oils, or compressed air containing oil vapors.
