Grade "T" Nitrile Gasket
Engineered for Petroleum Service
The Grade "T" Nitrile (Buna-N) gasket, identified by its orange color code, is manufactured in accordance with ASTM D2000 and provides a service temperature range of -20°F to 180°F (-29°C to 82°C). It is recommended for petroleum products, mineral oils, vegetable oils, hydraulic fluids, lubricating oils, fuels, and compressed air containing oil vapors.
The Grade "T" gasket delivers excellent resistance to petroleum-based media while maintaining reliable sealing performance in demanding industrial environments. It is not recommended for hot water or hot air applications, where EPDM or other specialized gasket materials should be selected.
