Pure PTFE for Maximum Resistance

Made from 99.6% pure PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene), Blue Monster™ tape is chemically inert, non-toxic, and highly lubricious. Its molecular structure provides outstanding resistance to chemicals and temperature extremes. It’s safe for use on threaded fittings made from:

• Galvanized steel, stainless steel, iron, brass, copper, aluminum

• PVC, CPVC, ABS, polyethylene, polypropylene, fiberglass, and more

Important Precautions

Do not use on oxygen systems. For oxygen service, use Mill-Rose’s green oxygen-rated tape. Avoid contact with alkali metals, fluorine gas, or hot concentrated nitric acid.
