Banded BX Series Classical Industrial V-Belts – High-Torque Cogged Belts for Demanding Industrial Power Transmission
Banded BX Series Classical V-Belts are engineered to deliver reliable, high-performance power transmission in the most demanding industrial applications. These belts consist of two or more BX-section cogged V-belts bonded together with a tough, fiber-reinforced backing, ensuring alignment, stability, and uniform load distribution across all ribs.
The BX profile features a top width of 21/32 inch and a height of 0.55, offering enhanced power capacity compared to standard belts. The notched (cogged) design improves flexibility and cooling by reducing internal bending stress, making these belts ideal for high-speed drives and small pulley diameters. The banded configuration prevents belt rollover and vibration, even under shock loads or uneven tensioning.
Manufactured using heat-, oil-, and abrasion-resistant rubber compounds, Banded BX Series belts also feature high-strength polyester or aramid (Kevlar®) tensile cords. This combination ensures excellent stretch resistance, smooth operation, and long service life in harsh operating environments. Operating temperature ranges from -30°F to +140°F, making them suitable for a wide variety of applications.
