Banded AX Series Classical V-Belts combine the superior flexibility of cogged construction with the stability of a banded multi-ribbed design, making them ideal for high-speed, high-performance industrial drives. These belts consist of two or more AX-section belts permanently joined with a tough backing to ensure consistent alignment and synchronized performance.

The AX section features a top width of 1/2 inch and a height of 0.41 inch, designed to fit standard A-section sheaves. The cogged profile increases surface area contact and allows tighter bend radii, reducing heat buildup and power loss—ideal for compact drives or small-diameter pulleys. The banded configuration prevents belt rollover, reduces vibration, and improves power distribution across all ribs.

Constructed from heat-, oil-, and abrasion-resistant rubber compounds, these belts are reinforced with high-strength polyester or aramid cords to deliver superior tensile strength, minimal stretch, and long operational life. The notched (cogged) design enhances cooling and performance, particularly in variable speed and pulsating load conditions. Operating temperatures range from -30°F to +140°F, making them suitable for a wide array of environments.
