Cast Carbon Steel 3-Piece Valve Construction
The Sharpe Series 5303 ball valve features durable cast carbon steel construction for excellent mechanical strength and long-term industrial performance. Its three-piece body design provides convenient access to internal components for inspection and maintenance while minimizing disruption to adjoining piping.
Available in sizes from NPS 1/4" through 4" (DN 8-100), the Series 5303 offers threaded, socket weld, and butt weld end connections, providing flexibility for different piping system requirements.
Full Port with Bubble-Tight Shutoff
The full port design provides a large internal flow passage that helps minimize pressure drop, turbulence, and flow restriction. The valve delivers bi-directional, bubble-tight shutoff, providing dependable pipeline isolation from either flow direction.
Depending on valve size and configuration, the Series 5303 is rated for 1000 CWP or 600 CWP. Consult the applicable data sheet for pressure-rating availability by size. The valve is designed in accordance with MSS SP-110.
