The Sharpe Series 50C Carbon Steel 3000# Seal Weld Ball Valve is engineered for superior performance, dependable shutoff, and long-term reliability in demanding high-pressure industrial applications. This polymer-seated, seal-welded, two-piece ball valve combines rugged cast carbon steel construction with a 3000 CWP pressure rating. The Series 50C is ideal for oil and gas, petrochemical processing, chemical plants, power generation, manufacturing, utilities, and other high-pressure process piping systems.
Seal-Welded Carbon Steel Construction
The Sharpe Series 50C ball valve features a seal-welded design that enhances valve body integrity and helps minimize potential external leakage paths. Its durable cast carbon steel body provides the mechanical strength required for challenging industrial service.
Available in sizes from NPS 1/4" through 3" (DN 8-80), the Series 50C is offered with threaded or socket weld end connections, providing installation flexibility for different piping requirements.
3000 CWP and Bubble-Tight Shutoff
Rated for 3000 CWP, the Sharpe Series 50C provides bi-directional, bubble-tight shutoff for positive high-pressure pipeline isolation. The valve is designed to NACE MR0175 requirements for specified applications where sour-service material compatibility is required.
A blow-out proof stem enhances operational safety, while live-loaded stem packing is standard to help maintain consistent stem sealing during pressure changes and repeated valve cycling.
ISO 5211 Automation Capability
