Ridgid Pipe Beveller
RIDGID B-500 Transportable Pipe Beveller
The RIDGID B-500 Transportable Pipe Beveller is a professional pipe preparation tool engineered to produce fast, accurate, and consistent bevels without flames or grinding sparks. Its compact, portable design mounts quickly to 4-inch and larger pipe with wall thicknesses up to 1/2 inch, making it an efficient solution for pipe fabrication, welding preparation, mechanical contracting, and industrial maintenance.
Fast Pipe Bevelling in a Single Pass
The RIDGID B-500 Pipe Beveller can set up and bevel 10-inch diameter Schedule 40 pipe in as little as 45 seconds, providing substantial productivity for demanding fabrication applications. The machine produces the bevel in a single pass, and the pipe remains cool to the touch immediately after bevelling.
Unlike grinding or flame-based preparation methods, the B-500 provides grinding spark-free operation while creating a precision-machined surface.
Six Replaceable Cutter Inserts
The RIDGID B-500 produces a machined bevel finish using six replaceable cutter inserts working simultaneously. This cutting system creates a consistent bevel angle around the pipe diameter, helping provide uniform weld preparation and supporting an optimal number of cover passes.
Adjustable Land Width for Welding Requirements
The B-500 features an adjustable land width from 0 to 3/16 inch, allowing operators to configure the finished bevel to meet specific welding requirements. Adjustments can be made in 1/32-inch increments for controlled pipe-end preparation.
Simple Setup and Speed Monitoring
Designed for straightforward operation, the RIDGID B-500 Transportable Pipe Beveller is fast to mount, adjust, and operate. Integrated LED speed-monitoring indicators help the operator maintain proper operating speed for optimal cutter performance.
The combination of fast setup, single-pass bevelling, adjustable land width, six replaceable cutter inserts, spark-free operation, and portable construction makes the RIDGID B-500 ideal for pipe fabrication, welding shops, mechanical contractors, industrial piping, construction, plant maintenance, and MRO applications requiring accurate and repeatable pipe bevel preparation.
