EXCEL™

The EXCEL™ band saw blades feature a high tooth hardness (67-69 RC) with an 8% cobalt M42 tool steel cutting edge. They are available in Broach tooth, Posi tooth, and Hook tooth styles. The Broach tooth has a less aggressive zero degree rake angle that resists tooth strippage especially on smaller cross sections while retaining the high hardness and superior abrasion resistance needed for cutting high alloy, heat treated, or stainless steels. The Posi tooth and Hook tooth styles combine the high hardness and superior abrasion resistance qualities with an aggressive rake angle and a strong back angle to provide faster cuts on solid work pieces where tooth strippage is not a common occurrence.
